Welcome
Welcome to the The Brighton Therapist. Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space where individuals and couples can explore life's challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, or simply feeling stuck, I work collaboratively with you to support lasting emotional wellbeing and personal growth.

About Me
I am an experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor based in Brighton, East Sussex, offering psychotherapy for individuals and couples both in person and online.
I provide a warm, safe, and reflective space where clients can explore the deeper emotional patterns and life experiences that influence how they relate to themselves and others. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, or personal growth, therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting change.

My approach goes beyond looking at the symptoms that are causing difficulty in everyday life or relationships. Together, we explore the underlying causes of emotional distress, relationship challenges, and recurring patterns, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. Often, these difficulties are rooted in early life experiences and the ways we have learned to navigate the world.

Working from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, I support individuals and couples in developing emotional insight, strengthening relationships, improving communication, and creating meaningful change.
Couples therapy provides a space to explore patterns of conflict, intimacy concerns, trust issues, life transitions, and the impact of past experiences on present-day relationships.

I specialise in psychotherapy for complex trauma, anxiety, gender identity, ADHD, autism, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, and emotional wellbeing. I work with adults across Brighton and East Sussex and offer online therapy throughout the UK, making support accessible wherever you are based.

I provide clinical supervision for qualified counsellors and trainee psychotherapists, seeking reflective, supportive, and ethically informed professional development.
