Caroline Obolensky
Psychotherapist & EMDR Practitioner & Clinical Supervisor.
Often people come to therapy in times of crisis, or when they find themselves back in a familiar situation, repeating patterns of behaviour that has a negative impact on their lives. Whether you are looking for someone to talk to at a point where things are difficult, or just want to explore thoughts and feelings; psychotherapy can help make sense of your situation.

I work in private practice for clients wanting to access therapy on a self-referral basis. I am also a registered psychotherapist with BUPA and AXA, for insurance covered therapeutic treatment.

I also offer clinical supervision to both qualified clinicians and trainee therapists. I am registered with UKCP, BACP, BAPPS and EMDR Association.

Psychotherapy is the underpinning of talking therapy. It can help identify what is going wrong in areas such as relationships / work, and enables positive change and a better understanding of self.
EMDR is often used for trauma related incidents, and can be used alongside psychotherapy. This treatment is often particularly useful for those who have PTSD.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) can be helpful in addressing problems such as phobias and OCD or intrusive thoughts.
